Use

In this IMG activity, you define what the shift reports are to look like after generation and which data they are to contain.

Requirements

You have defined a signature strategy in the event that you have to sign the shift reports.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Choose shift report type.

    Here you create the shift report type. If you need different kinds of shift report structured in different ways due to the varying requirements of the work centers, you must create several report types. In addition, in this step can define the following functions in this section:

    • Whether the shift reports have to be without gaps.
    • Whether it has to be checked whether the shift report has been changed since it was last saved.
    • Whether the shift reports have to be signed. If necessary, specify the signature strategy.
    • Whether a shift report has to be completed before you can create the next shift report.
    • Whether the function key for the sending of shift reports is to be shown.
  2. Define the content of the shift report.

    Here you must assign a class and a PDF form. The following classes and forms are provided:

    Standard class CL_COCF_SR_PDF

    This standard class is assigned to the PDF form COCF_SR_PDF_LAYOUT. You can adapt this form to suit your needs using transaction SFP by copying it and changing it accordingly.

    Separate Customizing is stipulated for the standard class. You can invoke this using the Customizing function key. Here you define the sections comprising the shift report in the PDF form:

    • List of shift notes
      • If you choose this option, the system also adopts shift notes in the shift report. The shift notes then appear in the shift report in the section Shift Notes. In order that the system can find the shift notes for the shift report, a shift note category must be entered in the work center or hierarchy.
      If you create a shift report for a hierarchy and have specified that the shift report is also to contain shift notes, as a basic rule not only the shift notes for the hierarchy are listed, but also all shift notes for all work centers belonging to this hierarchy. In this respect, it is irrelevant which shift note category you have entered for the work centers involved.
      In addition, you can specify that the shift notes are to be grouped in the shift report. See also: Group Shift Notes.
    • List of confirmations
      • If you choose this option, all confirmations are listed in the shift report. In addition, you can use the Smart Select indicator to specify that the system is to list confirmations in just one shift report with the aid of a smart selection function.
    • List of aggregated quantities
      • If you set the Display Section indicator, the confirmed quantities are displayed in the shift report in aggregated form.
    • List of aggregated activities
      • If you set the Display Section indicator, the confirmed quantities are displayed in the shift report in aggregated form. In the process, the system converts all confirmed production activities into the unit you have specified at the work center in the Activity Unit in the Calculation view and shows the total of activities confirmed for each activity type. If you have not stipulated a unit at the work center, the system uses the unit you confirmed.
    • List of aggregated goods movements
      • If you set the Display Section indicator, the goods movements posted are displayed in the shift report in aggregated form.
    • List of maintenance notifications
      • If you set the Display Section indicator, maintenance notifications entered for the work center will also be included in the shift report. You can exclude maintenance notifications with a certain status.
    • Customers' own tables and texts
      • If you set the indicator, this section is displayed in the shift report. To be able to define customers' own tables and texts, you must first have implemented the BAdI COCF_BD_SR_PDF_CUSTOMER.
      Use the Define Data function key to invoke the Change Customer's Own Data: Overview screen. Here you can define the order of tables or texts to be displayed and specify further details for each object.
    • Graphical evaluations

      You can define a separate layout for each of these sections and specify:

    • Whether the section is to be displayed in the shift report.
    • The appearance of the layout.
    • How many lines are to be displayed per table cell.
    • How many lines of a long text are to be displayed. For very long long texts, you can determine the number of first and last lines.

      Note

      You can only include confirmation data (including aggregated quantities, activities, and goods movements) for the production and process order in the shift report. Confirmation data from Repetitive Manufacturing cannot be taken into account.

Standard class CL_COCF_SR_REP

The PDF form COCF_SR_REP_LAYOUT is assigned to this standard class. If you use this class with this PDF form, the shift report consists of a cover page and the output list of a report. In Customizing for this class, you can then enter the desired report with variant that is to be executed when the shift report is created.
