Use
Order generation is locked at generation group level. This means you can run order generation for several generation groups in parallel.
You can control parallel execution of order generation by assigning generation groups to different contracts.
Example
You manage Company A and Company B in the same client, since they both use the same master data (for instance, media products and media issues). Company A has the sales organization 1000 and Company B the sales organization 2000.
Both companies want to perform order generation independently of the other company. You implement the method GET_GENERATION_GROUP of this BAdI so that all the contracts with sales organization 1000 (i.e. those that belong to Company A) are assigned generation group A and all the contracts with sales organization 2000 (and belong to Company B) are assigned generation group B.
Specify generation group A or B on the selection screen.
