Example

You have determined InfoSets ExampleSet1 and ExampleSet2 (in the standard area) for logging in the customizing activity Determine InfoSets for Logging

You have checked the logged evaluation data for the year 1999 and decided that the log data for ExampleSet1 can be deleted.

In this instance you have to carry out the current customizing activity with the following values:

  • Global work area: Field not selected
  • InfoSet: ExampleSet1
  • User name: _ (SPACE)
  • Date: 01.01.1999 to 31.12.1999
  • Time: _ (SPACE)

Activities

  1. Fill the selection parameters in accordance with the log data that you want to delete.
  2. Select 'Execute'.

Further notes

If you want to delete all log data, then you have to carry out the report twice:

The first time, select the checkbox Global Work Area and do not make any restrictions in the remaining fields (*).

The second time, do not select the checkbox Global Work Area and do not make any restrictions in the remaining fields.
