Use

In this IMG activity you define reserving rules for determination of a statistical reserve.

Make the following settings for each reserving rule:

  • At the level of the reserving rule
    • Key of reserving rule
    • Name of reserving rule
    • Define the first parameter to be evaluated in determination of the statistical reserve
    • Currency of reserves for this rule
  • At the level of the parameters
    • For each reserving rule define the data elements as the parameters that should be evaluated in determination of the statistical reserve
  • At the level of the parameter values
    • Parameter value that is given to the data element
    • Follow-on parameter if the parameter value applies. This follow-on parameter is then evaluated next in determination of the statistical reserve.
    • Amount for the statistical reserve to be set
    • If you do not specify any amount for the statistical reserve to be set, you can specify a reference value and a weighting factor in percent instead.

In IMG activity Configure Internal Claim Types assign the reserving rules defined here to a reserve type at subclaim level.
