Description
Tables OIH4 and OIH4T
These tables describe the excise duty tax status of a location or a material. The purpose of this is to determine whether a claim, a liability or neither will occur during the ED movement.
The excise duty tax status is assigned to a material valuation record (accounting view) during the creation of a material.
A 2-digit alphanumeric code is used, which is then indicated as either taxed or untaxed and assigned a default excise duty tax status key for a new batch.

Standard settings
Three entries are required as shown above. Physical inventory is given its own entry to enable it to be used as a constant reference for the excise duty status of physical inventory in the country concerned.
In table OIH03 the three entries can be taken in any combination to cover the range of from/to movements of inventory. You maintain table OIH03 in Customizing for the Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Downstream) by choosing TDP -> Global Settings -> Parameter Assignments -> Maintain excise duty/tax status/account determination.
