Define Load ID Types

Common characteristics are applied to Load IDs using the Load ID type. A Load ID is always assigned to a Load ID type and to the control structure which has been assigned to the Load ID type.

The control structure type (pickup or delivery) determines which Load ID type can be used. The Load ID type is defined using the following fields:

Description field

Here you enter a description of the Load ID type.

Load ID creation rule (CrR)

Determines how the Load ID number is created. The following options are available:

  • NR - number range
  • UE - user exit
  • NU - number range and user exit
  • _ free (can enter desired text)

Subsequent document type (SDocArt)

Type of subsequent document that is to be used when a posting against an SD document takes place via the TAS Interface. If a delivery note is to be created immediately (function OIK_SD_CALLOFF_DELIVERY_CREATE), then the subsequent document type is changed to a rush order.

Multiple Load ID Assignment (MLA)

Setting this flag results in the assignment of multiple Load IDs. When the TAS Interface screen is activated all valid Load IDs found in the Load ID type are assigned to document items. If this flag is not set, a Load ID is only automatically assigned to a document item when a single valid Load ID is found.

Master Data Send (MDS)

If this flag is set, all master data in the SAP system which is defined in the control structure or assigned to additional control structures of the Load ID is transferred with the Load ID to the logical system (depot).

The following master data is transferred:

  • Material
  • Ship-to party
  • Sold-to party
  • Vehicle
  • Driver

Automatic Load ID assignment (ALA)

If this flag is set together with the MLA flag, all valid Load IDs are automatically assigned to document items when the document is saved without having to activate the TAS Interface screen.

User screen number (UsrScr)

Here a user screen number can be entered that links to a screen in the function group XOIK. This screen is then activated by choosing the user screen button.

Button Text

Here the text is entered that is to appear on the user screen button.

Number range (No.)

This field is used to assign a valid number range interval from the number range OIK_LID.

Procedure for material determination (MatDeterm.)

Identifies the procedure that the system uses during material determination, such as material substitution, for a given sales document type. For example, the material diesel can be defined for a contract item, but contract call-offs are made for summer or winter diesel.

Substitution rule

The substitution rule is used when the Intermediate document (Idoc) OILLDD01 is sent to another system with function OIK_OILDD01_TASGRP2_FORWARD. The original Load ID is replaced with a value from the field LID depot, LID 3rd Party, or 3rd Party Delivery Number.

Check box for clearing the additional Load ID field (ClrAddOn)

If this check box is selected, the field LIDADDON is initialized when the Idoc OILLDD01 is sent to another system with the function OIK_OILDD01_TASGRP2_FORWARD.

Assign Control Structures to Load ID Types

Here control structures are assigned to Load ID types. If the system finds a Load ID type during the TAS-relevance check, then all control structures defined in the Load ID type are validated against the document items and valid Load IDs can be assigned to the document items. Only control structures that are valid for the control structure type in the Load ID type (pickup or shipment) can be assigned.
