In this step you maintain complaint actions. Complaint actions define the oil company's response to a complaint and are linked to complaint results. The complaint action defines the postings that must be made in the system to process the complaint. The settlement type, document type and business add-In have to be maintained for each complaint action.
The complaint action business add-in serves as a user exit where Document Base Table (DBT) / Detailed Transaction File (DTF) records can be inserted or updated. These records are required for the specific business scenario postings. A control record must be maintained in the business add-in to determine which business process will be executed.
Example
After investigating a complaint, the oil company's decision is that the service station partner is responsible. This result means that the following complaint actions have to be carried out:
Reverse the relevant postings in accounts receivable and clearing accounts, the commission paid to the service station partner, and postings of the disagio and participation fees
Bill the service station partner for the transaction amount
