Use
Use this step to enter the subclass codes approved for your agency by the US Treasury.
Subclass codes are used to segregate certain special transactions, such as investments, from other receipt and expenditure transactions.
A specific subclass code is added in parentheses at the front of the regular account symbol on the SF-224. For example, the prefix "98" might be added to an account symbol as follows: (98)2644111.
Code "98" is for Redemption (Sale) of US Public Debt Securities.
