Here you can implement a Business Add-In (BAdI) to determine how the system uses the posting data for goods issues or goods receipts after the reversal or correction of a ticket. The following methods are provided with the BAdI:

  • SET_POSTINGDATE_REV_GI: Set posting date within reversal material document (goods issue)
  • SET_POSTINGDATE_REV_GR: Set posting date within reversal material document (goods receipt)

The function module OIJ_EL_DOCG_REVERSE_GI calls the method SET_POSTINGDATE_REV_GI.

The function modules OIJ_EL_DOCG_REVERSE_GR and OIJ_EL_DOCG_REVERSE_MAT_TRANSF call the method SET_POSTINGDATE_REV_GR.

Example

A TSW ticket was posted on 10.05.2002. Three months later, an audit reveals errors in this ticket which must be resolved using the Ticket Correction function in TSW.

In the standard correction procedure, the system takes the posting date of the previous ticket as the date for the correction to be posted. A correction on 10.08.2002 would fail, because the posting periods are already closed for the accounts involved in the document generation process. With this BAdI, you can select an alternative posting date, such as the first open date of the FI period or the current system date.
