In this IMG activity, you assign academic sessions to academic years to map your university's academic periods.
You can create the actual dates of the academic periods in the academic calendar. To edit the academic calendar, choose Campus Management -> Academic Structure (Curriculum) -> Study Planning -> Academic Calendar from the SAP menu (transaction code PIQCAM).

Assign academic sessions to academic years. Set up all the academic year and session combinations your university requires.
Example
Academic year 2002/03 consists of two academic sessions: summer semester and winter semester.
To map this in the system, you make the following assignments:
