In this step, you can set a booking priority for bookings made in the ESS Service Training Center.
You can also specify that in the Web applications of Training and Event Management workflow events are only generated to start workflows. In addition, you can set up a cancellation reason for bookings canceled via the ESS Service My Bookings. This lets you determine what cancellations fees are levied for employees that cancel bookings via Self-Service.

Activities
Under SEMIN INPRI enter a booking priority.
- Under SEMIN REQUE activate event generation if you want to use the Web applications integrated with workflows.
- Under SEMIN WEBST enter a cancellation reason, where relevant.
If you make no entries, the following settings are valid:
- Internet bookings are created with the same priorities as assigned by the system automatically. The priority assigned by the system depends on the number of bookings received at the time of booking and on the settings made under Day-to-Day Activities -> Booking -> Booking Priorities regarding normal, essential, and waiting list bookings.
- Since the SEMIN REQUE entry is not active by default, no workflow events are generated during booking, rebooking and canceling transactions. These functions can be executed directly if the user has the required authorizations.
Note:
If the user does not have the required authorization, only workflow events are generated in the Employee Self-Services PV7I and PV8I. No actions can be performed for the other Web applications in this case.
- The cancellation fee is derived from the value stored in the entry CCDEL under Day-to-Day Activities -> Booking -> Canceling -> Control Data.
Further notes
You can also dynamically determine a suitable cancellation reason under Employee Self-Service (ESS) -> Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) for ESS -> BAdI: Set Up Customer-Specific Cancellation Reason with the Business Add-In HRTEM00NET_WEBST, which you then transfer to the ESS Service. If this Business Add-In is implemented, the value stored in it overrides the values of the switches SEMIN WEBST and SEMIN CCDEL, even if it is blank (unless an exception is triggered in the Business Add-In).
