EPATH: Evaluation path for employee
Key for evaluation path that the system uses to establish an organizational unit for which the person is to carry out compensation administration.
EVSUB: Default value for job evaluation methods
In this field, you determine which of the job evaluation methods available the system uses as the preset value (in Compensation Management queries) as well as the default value (in the initial screen of Job Pricing in the "Evaluation method" field).
For more information on the job evaluation methods available, see Define Job Evaluation Methods.
MGBUD: Budget for Line Managers
In this field, you specify which budget the system is to use for compensation administration, if compensation administration is being carried out for a line manager.
Possible entries:
- ' ' (leer)
The budget of the line manager's organizational unit is used. If there is no budget for the organizational unit, the next highest organizational unit is used, for which there is a budget. In other words, the line manager of an organizational unit is paid from the same budget as the rest of the employees in the organizational unit.
Example
Line manager 1 carries out compensation administration for line manager 2, There is a budget available for line manager 2's organizational unit. The budget for the adjustment amounts comes from line manager 2's organizational unit, that is, budget 2.
- 'X'
Budget of the next highest organizational unit for which a budget is available is used. In other words, the line manager of an organizational unit is paid from a different budget than the rest of the employees in the organizational unit.
Example
Line manager 1 carries out compensation administration for line manager 2. There is a budget for line manager 2's organizational unit. The budget for the adjustment amounts comes from line manager 1's organizational unit, ie, from budget 1.

In this field, you specify the period for which the system is to cumulate compensation components from infotype Additional payments (0015) in the data extraction query.
Possible entries:
- ' ' (empty)
Selection period includes the year which ends the day before the deadline.
Example
Key date for query:
06041997 (4th.June 1997)
Selection period:
06041996 - 06031997 (4th June 1996 - 3rd June 1997)
- Period in MMDD-MMDD format
Selection period includes the period entered. The system determines the year so that the period comes before and as close as possible to the key date.
Example
Entry in this field:
0312-1002 (12th March - 2nd October)
Key date of query:
09041998 (4th September 1998)
Selection period:
03121997 - 10021997 (12th March 1997 - 2nd October 1997)
NoteIf the day and month of the period and the key date are identical, the system specifies the key date for the query as the end date of the period.
Example
Entry in this field:
0312-1002 (12th March - 2nd October)
Key date of query:
09041998 (2nd October 1998)

STATE: Plan version for Compensation Management
Key for plan version that is used in the system in Compensation Management.
Warning
We recommend that you use the active plan versions for the following reasons:
- The records for the infotype Compensation Adjustments (0380) are not plan version-specific. For this reason, compensation planning should only be carried out in one plan version.
- The organizational data displayed in Compensation Management for the employee comes partly from the records for the infotype Organizational Assignment (0001) and therefore from the active plan version (if integration between Personnel Administration and Organizational Management is active).
- The workflow template Approval process for compensation adjustments only works in the active plan version.
SVSUB: Default value for survey type
In this field, you determine which of the available salary survey types the system uses as preset values (in Compensation Management queries, for example) or as default values (in the initial screen of Job pricing in the "Survey type" field).
For more information on the survey types available, see Define Survey Types.
