Description
This view enables the use of a default partner function.
The system can be set to default a specified partner function for a given order type.

For example, a centralized order entry department may be taking orders only from ship-to partners. Usually the system would automatically set the partner function to 'sold-to'. Instead of manually changing this every time an order is created, the partner function 'ship-to' is now defaulted.
Requirements
This functionality is only available for order types for which the default overview screen is the IS-Oil Fast Order Entry screen.
Recommendation
The use of this functionality is recommended when, for instance, the ship-to party is the predominant business partner placing orders with the order entry department.
Activities
Further notes
If a particular business partner is an exception to the rule, the defaulted function can be changed manually by the user on the Order Entry screen itself, provided no items have been entered.
