Use
In this IMG activity, you select the data transfer project, subproject, and object details that have been maintained in the Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW). The details specified in this step are used to identify the LSMW data transfer project that the system uses to perform data conversion from formula and average pricing (F&A) conditions to commodity pricing engine (CPE) during an initial or delta download of sales documents from SAP Oil & Gas to SAP CRM.
If the selection is complete and data exchange has been configured and activated, the system automatically performs the following activities during an initial download of sales documents:
- The system checks if, for the corresponding F&A formula in a sales document, there is a matching, unaltered, and complete formula in CPE Customizing (SAP Oil & Gas).
- If there is such a Customizing formula, the CPE document formula is created with reference to this CPE Customizing formula and is then transferred to SAP CRM.
- If no such Customizing formula exists, a completely new document-specific CPE formula (without reference to a CPE Customizing formula) is created and transferred to SAP CRM. To do this, the system uses the mapping content from the selected LSMW project.
- In both cases, the GUIDs of the SAP CRM sales document items that are created during the data exchange determine the keys of CPE document formulas.
Requirements
You have installed the SAP R/3 Plug-In Release 2004.1 or higher in SAP Oil & Gas.
You have defined the data transfer project, subproject, and object details in the Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW) that contain mapping content to migrate from the F&A data model to the CPE data model.
Recommendation
We recommend that you perform this activity only if you want to calculate stock market-based prices in a scenario integrating SAP CRM (5.0 or higher) with SAP Oil & Gas.
Standard settings
Activities
Select the data transfer project, subproject, and object details defined in the LSMW that contain the mapping content for the migration from the F&A data model to the CPE data model.
If you want to determine the LSMW project that is to be used during data exchange, choose BAdI: Determine LSMW Project to Be Used During Sales Document Data.
