With this activity
you assign the tasks in the workflow template Copy Editing to possible agents based on a previously defined organizational plan and create rules defining which processors are defined as responsible agents at runtime by the system
activate or deactivate the workflow link to the triggering event "COPY_EDITING"
Example
Info objects given for copy editing after completion by the author (status = Copy Editing) should be copy edited by other members of the same organizational unit. Copy edited info objects returned by the copy editor for revision (status = Resubmission) should be placed in the workplace inbox of the person responsible for the folder.
In your organizational plan you defined positions that are described by the jobs "Head of department" and "Processor". You assign these two jobs as agents for the entire group of tasks in the workflow template. In this way you define that all the users whose position is described by one of these two jobs are possible agents for the tasks of the workflow template. Choose the default rule "Organizational unit of a user" to determine the responsible agent for the task of "Copy Editing". Choose the default rule "Person responsible for the folder" to determine the responsible agent for the task of "Revising in the Copy Editing Procedure".
Mark the task group "Tasks in the KW Workflow Copy Editing".
Choose Agent assignment -> Create.
Mark an agent type (e.g. job) and select an agent (e.g. a certain job) marked as a possible agent for tasks within the workflow. Repeat if necessary if there are several different agents marked for handling (different) tasks of the workflow.
Mark the task "Copy Editing" and display it by double-clicking. On the Default rules tab, check if the desired rule is entered for determining the responsible agents. If necessary choose Standard task -> Change, enter the desired rule and save it.
Mark the task "Revise in Copy Editing Procedure" and proceed in the same manner.
Perform the activity "Activate event coupling".
Mark the workflow template "Knowledge Warehouse: Copy Editing" and expand the node.
Mark the workflow object COPY_EDITING and activate event coupling if necessary by double-clicking.
