The sample documents delivered with IS-H*MED RAD include attributes for the documentation of examinations. Basic functions are connected to these attributes such as the presetting of technical parameters, the transfer of anamnesis and questions, units adjustable in customizing, etc..

Above all, it is intended to standardize the material entry and the team entry as well as to accordingly simplify a future data transfer of all technical parameters of modalities. If the examination devices do not supply the appropriate data, we offer a service-specific default for the technical parameters via the delivered customizing tables as an alternative.

Sample documents are supplied for the following areas:

  • Conventional x-ray
  • Computer tomography
  • Magnetic resonance tomography
  • Interventional radiology (angiology)
  • Nuclear medicine
  • Sonographic processes

The structure of all sample documents (see examples) is designed in such a way that changes to the contents of individual areas, e.g. technical parameters, can be easily modified and the relevant functionalities can also be adjusted accordingly.

In the service master (transaction NT02), you can set whether the examination documentation is automatically called when releasing the service. To enable this you select the Mandatory Radiology Data indicator under Enhancements for Radiology on the Med. Indicator tab page.

Activities

Note: It is not possible to use the described procedure to automatically merge existing document categories with supplied sample documents! Existing document categories must be maintained manually.

You should note that the sample documents are delivered in the BC set ISH_N2_PMD_RAD. Follow the directions in the documentation on the BC set.

In order to create a document category in the customer namespace, you should proceed as follows:

  1. You define or change the status network for the new document category.
  2. You transport the sample document to the target client.
    1. You log on to the target client.
    2. You call the report RN2UTDTM2.
    3. You make the necessary source and target entries and select the transport variant Document Category with Element List and Abstract Design. You start the report with Execute (F8). In the target client, all transported document categories are now

  3. You create the project-specific examination document.
    1. You copy the sample document category N7STUDY into the customer namespace so it remains unaffected by changes in the standard. You use transaction N2T5 and copy the abstract design and the element list. You use the Preset function in the Abstract Design: Copy Documentation Element screen and change the name of the master element. You then receive all default study attributes.
    2. You adapt the new study document to suit your requirements.
    3. You transfer and, if necessary, adapt the sample code from the PMD exits.
    4. You select Element List ->Table Maintenance and check and generate the dialog application.
