Sample Documents - External Data Modules

Description

Sample Surgery Documents

Surgery sample documents are available as templates for your own document categories in a version for Generator Version 2 (PMD).

  • N0M_OPBE_2 - Sample surgery report
  • N0M_OPPR_2 - Sample surgery log
  • N0M_OPZU_2 - Sample additional document post-surgery request
  • N0M_PROB_2 - Surgery covering letter

You are not permitted to directly change the sample documents delivered or use them as live. You first need to create a copy before you use the sample documents with or without modifications in your system.

Detailed Information on New Sample Document Categories

N0M_OPBE_2 Surgery Report

You enter long texts for indications, reports and recommendations in the surgery report. These long texts have the Enhanced Text text type and are suitable for dictations. The surgery team is preset by an external data module.

If a document is changed, the system refreshes the diagnoses, procedures, surgery times and the surgery team. The data saved in the document corresponds to the status of the surgical documentation at the time of the report entry or change. You can print the surgery report individually using a SAPscript form.

N0M_OPPR_2 Surgery Log

You use the surgery log to enter progress data and materials. The system saves diagnoses, procedures, surgery times, and the surgery team at their respective current status and refreshes them in change mode.

  • The Materials tab page contains a combo box for selecting materials. You have to enter and process the entries required in the document category.
  • The table for dialysates/drugs is supplied by the N0_MEDIK external data module.
  • The table for implants is supplied by the N0_IMPLAN external data module.
  • The system only permits the surgery log to be released if the data contained in the diagnoses, procedures, surgery time and surgery team agrees with the surgical documentation. If differences arise, you have to update the document (error message). This means that you have to create a new document version if the surgery log has already been released (subsequent entry of released surgical documentation). When you print the document, the system checks again that the data agrees. If differences exist, the system will print a message on the log.
  • If the surgical documentation or the surgery log has not yet been released, the system prints 'provisional surgery log' in the log header.
  • A request is required to preset the Position table on the surgery log. You have to create or maintain the surgery log from a work environment (clinical work station) so that the reference to the request exists.

N0M_OPZU_2 Surgery Additional Document

The surgery additional document contains the requests for post treatment care. The release of this document is not dependent on the remaining surgery documentation.

Individual printing has been made possible with SAPscript forms.

N0M_PROB_2 Surgery Covering Letter

The covering letter is addressed to pathologists. You can enter information about preparations, diagnoses and questions in the covering letter. This document category is called when you go to histological sample.

Individual printing has been made possible with SAPscript forms.

Adjustments Required in Includes

You have to adjust the document category name of the covering letter (form OP_DOCJUMP) in the subroutine pool for form routines belonging to the user exit of the surgery log (copy from N0M_OP_GV2).

In this routine, you can also enter other document categories for covering letters which you can then navigate to from the surgery log.

Adjustments Required in Forms

In SAPscript forms, the table names appear for the field labels. You therefore have to copy the forms and adjust the names to the new table names of the copied document categories.

Requirements for Using External Data Module N0_MEDIK and N0_IMPLAN

The following requirements have to be met so that the external data module can correctly supply the data for the implant or medication table on the surgery log:

  • You use material consumption documentation without MM integration, i.e. system parameter N1MMAKT has the value SPACE.

Implants and drugs/dialysates are created as services in the formulary and they are assigned to service groups. The assignment type for service groups is entered as system parameter N1ZOTYP.

OU parameters OP_IMPLAN and AN_MEDIKAM receive the name of the highest associated service group for implants or drugs/dialysates.

External Data Modules

The external data modules are defined in transaction N2FD. In this customizing table, you can also find the external data modules for transferring data between parameterized documents created in the system administration.

In the detail screen for an external data module, you indicate the function modules that are to be called for the various events. For external data modules, there is a transfer structure that must be used together with the documentation element name in this way.

A sample entry is also supplied and transferred onto client 000, as long as no module has been created with this ID. Also, you can always enter a module using a different ID, e.g., if you would like to use another parameterization with a fixed parameter string. You can also enter another input help or switch off the value check for a definite module.

An example of the link to the external data modules is delivered with the document category N0_MUSTER, which you can transfer from your Import Client to the Test Client or to the Productive Client by using the Report RN2UTDTM. This document category is delivered without an application. If you would like to view the example, you must generate and activate the corresponding tables in the customer name area. Then you will be able to generate the dialog and print applications. If you would like to edit portions thereof and then use them in the productive system, you must copy the modules, since we redeliver the sample on request and also make enhancements to the document category definitions. Since the automatic import only takes place with client 000, you can also protect your variant by transferring it into the test client.

General Notes

The function modules for the Input Help function and the Value Check are called from the screen, before the data for further processing are returned to the Main Program. For the value check, you must additionally set the Modifying indicator, because only in this way are the data from the generated application returned to the function group from which the value check is executed.
You should also consult the notes in the component Clinical System -> Enhanced Basic Data -> Parameterized Document Categories -> External Data Modules.

External Data Module: Anesthetic Procedure

The function modules of the external data module for the Anesthetic Procedure of the surgery can be found in the function group N2F9. An example is N0_ANVERFA. The function group contains the function modules

  • for presetting from case data

External Data Module: Degree of Infection

The function modules of the external data module for the Degree of Infection of the surgery can be found in the function group N2F9. An example is N0_INFGRAD. The function group contains the function modules for presetting from case data.

External Data Module: Positioning

The function modules of the external data module for the Positioning of the Patient in the surgery can be found in the function group N2F9. An example is N0_LAGER. The function group contains the function modules

  • for presetting from data of the surgery request
  • for the value selection
  • for the value check

Materials External Data Module - Without MM Integration

  • Drugs N0_MEDIK
  • Blood preparations N0_BLUTPR
  • Implants N0_IMPLAN

Materials External Data Module - With MM Integration

  • Drugs N0_MMINT
  • Drugs N0_MMINTV for presetting

You can find documentation for both modules at N0_MMINT, you can find the function modules at function group N2FDB02.

External Data Module: Employees

For the employee, there are external data modules for both simple entry fields e.g.: N0_MITARB as well as external data modules for the employee in a team table ( N0_TEAM, N0_TEAMV, N0_TEAMORG).

N0_TEAMR updates the team data in PMDs in change mode.

You can find the function modules of the external data module for simple entry fields in function group N2F9. This contains the function modules

  • for the value selection
  • for the value check.

In the parameter string, you determine whether only nursing employees are available in the input help function or all employees of the documenting OU.

You can find the function modules of the external data module for&#x
