Use
Here you can enter procedure codes which should be proposed for a service.
Requirements
Standard settings
Some documents contain a procedure table and a 'Enter Procedures' function is intended.
You can use the assignment type entered in system parameter N2OPICPZ to store procedures for the individual medical services in the service catalog. These procedures are then offered as proposals when you branch to procedure entry. Any localization requirement is taken into account. Selected procedures are then saved with a movement reference and transferred into the procedure table of the document.
If a procedure for the movement should receive a different free text, you can proceed as follows:
A service with the key of a corresponding procedure code is also included in a separate catalog. The desired text is stored as short text for this service. This service in a separate service, is then assigned to the service to be performed as a proposal using the specific assignment type.
When the hit list is displayed all keys connected to the service using the above-mentioned assignment type are evaluated and the syetm checks whether these correspond to a key in the currently valid procedure catalog. When entering the procedure for the movement the system automatically the text of the directly assigned entry as free text to the data from the currently valid catalog. Invalid keys are displayed with a relevant comment in the hit list.
Because of this procedure, a mandatory update of all connections following a procedure catalog change is not necessary, as the system always checks the validity of the key in the currently valid catalog. Entries to be updated are identified in the workflow and need only be adjusted if necessary.
Activities
Specifiy the service catalog, the service and the assignment type entered in system parameter N2OPICPZ.
Execute the "Maintain" function.
You can now enter procedures or services with procedure keys or make changes.
Example
The following example should illustrate an assignment of procedure keys to a medical service using a separate text:
Basic Catalog Med. Service Assignment Type Cardio Catalog Connection Service
01 Z_CORO OIC KA 1-272.0
KA 1-272.3
The services 1-272.0 and 1-272.3 were created in a separate KA catalog with a separate text as desired. When procedure entry is called the keys of the assigned entries are checked against the current procedure catalog and offered for selection if they are valid.
