Use

In this IMG activity you define the characteristics for classifying benefits, services, and fees catalogs. You can use these characteristics to restrict the input help of the following benefits catalogs in the application:

  • DRG (Diagnosis Related Groups) catalogs:

    A benefits catalog with such a characteristic is a DRG catalog.

  • Benefits catalogs without calculation basis

    A benefits catalog with such a characteristic is only used for documentation purposes and does not contain any calculation basis for individual benefits or services.

    An example of such a benefits catalog in Germany is the OPS catalog (classification of operation keys).

    Set the relevant indicator. It is also possible to set both indicators with a characteristic.

  1. Define the characteristics in this IMG activity.

    Set the required indicator with a characteristic. You can also set both indicators with a characteristic.

  2. In IMG activity Define Benefit Catalogs, assign the characteristics defined here to the required benefit catalogs.

In the DRG Catalog field with the DRG claim item grouping, for example, the system only shows those benefit catalogs that have been assigned the characteristic in which the DRG indicator is set.
