Use

In this IMG activity you create an RFC connection for access to the Internet Graphics Service (IGS).
This provides the geographic coordinates for a particular address.

Requirements

For information on setting up the IGS, see the corresponding Installation Guide in the SAP Service Marketplace under http://service.sap.com/instguides -> SAP Netweaver -> Release 04 -> Installation -> SAP WebAS -> Installation Guide - Internet Graphics Service.

Standard settings

Activities

Execute the following activities for Europe (IGS1) and the USA (IGS0):

  1. Create an RFC connection.
  2. Choose Create.
  3. Enter IGS_RFC_DEST as the RFC destination.
  4. Select T (for TCP/IP) as the connection type.
  5. Enter a description.
  6. On the Technical Settings tab, select Registered Server Program and enter the program ID IGS.xxx.xxx.xxx. We recommend using the program ID IGS followed by the IP address of the IGS server.
