In this IMG activity, you maintain a mapping between the loan attributes used in SAP Loans Management (CML) and products in Collateral Management (CM). You determine mapping between the loan attributes product type, loan loan type and loan class in CML, to product in Collateral Management. Using this mapping, the loans of the product types will be mapped to receivables of the specified product.
Note: Assignment to product type is mandatory to map loan attributes to product. However, the assignments to loan type and loan class are optional; These are used as selection criteria for the mapping, in combination with the product type.
You use this activity to define a mapping at a database level between Collateral Management (CM) and SAP Loans Management (CML). The purpose of such mapping is to enable CM to use the data for collaterals that is maintained in CML.
