In this step, you determine the depreciation areas in which you want to manage replacement values.
Recommendation
In most countries, you are only allowed to calculate replacement values for cost accounting purposes. In this case, you should only allow for upward and downward revaluation in the cost accounting depreciation area.
Requirements
You must have created at least one chart of depreciation of your own.
Standard settings
Depending on the country-specific standard chart of depreciation, SAP provides depreciation areas for managing replacement values.
Activities
Set the indicator "management of revaluation " in the depreciation areas in question.
