In this activity, you define the cancellation procedures that are allocated to a contract or a contract item when entering a contract. Using the assignment of cancellation procedures and cancellation rules in Customizing, the system determines the cancellation rule that is valid for a contract which specifies the times at which a contract may be terminated.
A validity period can also be defined by specifying a validity start date and/or a validity end date for every cancellation procedure.
Note
You can enter the cancellation procedure in the contract profile as a default value.
Actions
- Enter an alphanumeric key with a maximum of four characters as well as a textual description.
- If necessary, enter a validity start date, a validity end date or a complete validity period for the cancellation procedure.
