Special features for external agents are much the same as those for standard delivery schedules. You can run specific checks on deliveries (consignment issues) sent to you by EDI by an external agent to report back deliveries made to the customer on your behalf.

In this step, you define how the system processes consignment issues from the external agent responsible for a particular sold-to party or combination of sold-to party/unloading point. You can:

  • Enter the sold-to party supplied by the external agent
  • Enter the unloading point of the sold-to party
  • Activate test runs for incoming EDI deliveries (consignment issues)
  • Specify how data on packaging material is to be handled
  • Specify how general texts sent in delivery schedules are to be handled
  • Sales document type
    Enter the sales document type of the external agent delivery (consignment issue), type ED in the standard system.
