In this unit, you can assign partner roles to each code you have assigned to an additional long text. The partner roles may see this code and the additional long text when creating, changing, or displaying claims.
You can use any partner rolds that have the "user" partner type. No check takes place in the table as to whether this partner role is permitted in the partner profile you assign to the notification type. This means that there is no guarantee that you can maintain a user in because the only partner roles you can maintain in the claim are those also contained in the partner profile for the notification type.
If you maintain partner roles for a code in this table, the system checks, during creation or viewing of, or changes to, additional long texts, whether the current user is assigned to a partner role which may view the code for the additional long text. If so, the system displays the addional long text; if no, the long text can be neither displayed nor changed.
Example
You use the additional long texts to store information which only the following should be allowed to see:
- The person entering the claim
- The claim manager
To reproduce these display restrictions in the system, assign the "Author" and "Coordinator" partner roles to the codes for the affected long texts. Then make the following entries in the relevant claim:
- The person entering the claim as the "author"
- The claim manager as the "coordinator
