In this step, you maintain parameters for the layout of the application interface.
You have to maintain the following tables for this:
- "Functions"
This table contains the functions that should be executed when an entry in the Personnel Planning menu is selected.
The following options are available:
- Start a report
- Call a transaction
- Call a routine of a report
- Call a dynamic menu
You can specify a service and a screen modification per function. These will be called when the function is executed.
- "Services"
You can specify the actions to be executed for each service used in the table "Functions". Actions are routines defined in a program. These routines are executed before the start of the program or transaction.
- "Screen modifications"
You can specify the screen fields that are modified at the start of a transaction or program for each screen modification used in the table "Functions".
The following modification options are available:
- mandatory field
- "no input" field
- invisible field
- highlighted field
- "Dynamic menu texts"
If the dynamic menu is accessed from a particular entry in the table "Functions", there are three possible texts that can be specified in the table for this entry. These texts are stored in table T77MT. The first text appears in the title line of the menu window that is accessed, the second and third texts appear as headings for all entries in the window.
- "Dynamic menu functions"
There must be an entry in the table "Functions" for each function that accesses the dynamic menu. You can define several levels for a dynamic menu. The SAP System always starts at the lowest level. If another window should be opened when a certain entry is selected, you must indicate this by specifying a subsequent level. Otherwise, the function defined in the last two columns will be executed.
