In this step, you:

  • create new planning profiles
  • define the parameters for the new planning profiles
  • change existing planning profiles

To be able to carry out financial budgeting, you must create at least one planning profile, or use an existing one.

You make the following entries:

  • Define planning profile keys

    You must then store the planning profile key in the FM area to which it is to apply. You do this in the step "Assign planning profile to FM area".

  • Define the planning start year
  • Define the period into the past, from the start year, for which planning is to be possible
  • Define the period into the future, from the start year, for which planning is to be possible

Here, you can also enter the scaling and number of decimal places which should apply to your values, and specify how the annual values you plan are to distributed to the individual periods.

Standard settings

Planning profile 000001 is delivered in the standard system.

  1. Check the planning profile delivered in the standard system.
  2. Use the New entries function to enter additional planning profiles as required.
