In this step, you maintain the key fields of an object type. The key fields identify the object (in classification functions, for example). You see a list of all the object types defined so far. You can define new, customer-specific object types.

Activities

  1. To define the key fields of a customer object type, choose New entries.

    Enter the following data on the detail screen:

    • Object table for object type
    • Key fields for identifying objects
    • Text field from the text table that contains language-dependent descriptions of the objects
    • Transaction for displaying objects
      • This transaction allows you to display the master data of the object from the Object to classes assignment function.
  2. Save your data.
