In this activity, you check the table of subsequent pay scale levels and subsequent pay scale classes for calculation of the increase process.
You check whether the correct subsequent pay scale level and (subsequent) pay scale class is entered for each pay scale level in connection with the pay scale class. You carry out this check separately for every pay scale. The pay scale keys have the following meaning:
- AP1: Basic pay scale
- AP2: Comparison pay scale
- AP3: public sector employment law classification
Example
Your collective agreement specifies that an employee with service class VI must be reclassified to pay scale level 07 after two years in pay scale level 06.
Requirements
You have defined the pay scale types and pay scale areas (Usage/Remuneration Groups).
To maintain the table, you have an overview of your collective agreements.
Recommendation
Use the SAP model entries and adapt the increase processes to meet your requirements. Do not delete the required entries.
Activities
- Check the existing entries.
Double click to access the detailed data for a table entry.
- In field Pay Scale Jump enter the age as of which a reclassification is to be carried out, if necessary.
- In field Membership Dur. enter the duration for membership to this pay scale class and level in years and months after which a reclassification is to be carried out.
- In the Subsequent Values, you must enter the subsequent group, class and level to be reached.
- If there is no further subsequent pay scale group, level and class for a pay scale level, the fields remain empty.
- If you want to insert a new pay scale class or level, choose New Entries. Enter all the required data for the new pay scale class or level.
- Save your entries.
