When you create a new model, you must connect the report and variant names for the master data download to the model.
This variant is used for every model initialization. The master data download will take place every time the external system is used for planning a version of the model. In this step, you can also specify a default action which is then used as a proposal.

Requirements
Standard settings
The standard SAP report for downloading master data is RCCBP_SOP_MASTERDATA_DOWNLOAD. To create variants for this report, use the standard R/3 functionality for variant maintenance. Follow the path Goto -> Variants
Recommendation
Activities
- To assign download and planning defaults, click on the new entries button.
- Enter the name of the model, the report and the variant for the master data download.
- Specify the default action, if desired.
