Use
In this Customizing activity, you can define document categories. You can use the document category to maintain an additional set of attributes according to the type of document you have created, for example PDF, image, using the From File option.
The document category is defined at RMS ID level. The following document categories are supported:
- Normal document
- Scanned image
- Digital photograph
- Web records
Requirements
You have set the connection parameter of the element type RMPS_DOC_CATEGORY_SUPPORTED to True in the registry.
Standard settings
Activities
Define the required document category for an RMS ID.
Specify the extensions that belong to the document category in the Customizing activity Register Extensions for Document Categories.
You can then add the additional attributes to a document in transaction DMWB.
