If an employee has been working on a higher duty position and has gotten higher duty allowance (HDA) for a specified period and then he terminates, the HDA is taken into account for the termination payment. However, the HDA is not taken into account if the employee has been working on a higher duty position for less than the specified period or if he already had quitted working on a higher duty position at the time of termination.

In this step, you specify the period in months that is necessary for HDA to be counted for termination payment.
