Use
In this IMG activity you define characteristics for the reassignment lock. Note that you cannot change the characteristic of an external note if entries have already been made in the system for the reassignment lock. The note type cannot be deleted either in this case.
You define:
- whether it is an external note or not
- that a particular note type (subtype) should be obsolete. You require this indicator because note types that already have entries in the system cannot be deleted. Calling existing infotype entries would cause errors.
Note that a subtype of infotype 1509 can only be used for one note type. For example, it cannot be used for a lock note and a "TBD" note at the same time.
Requirements
You have created at least one note type (subtype) for the reassignment lock in the IMG activity Define Note Types.
Standard settings
SAP delivers the note types (subtypes) 021 and 022 for the reassignment lock. Note 022 is flagged as an external note.
