In this IMG activity, you determine the gross earning wage type the system has to use for Relevant Daily Pay (RDP) rate calculation based on gross earnings.

If you set the value to the begin date of the period from which the system must use value of Gross $ Amount for RDP wage type (/129)to calculate RDP rate. You must set this value in the format yyyymmdd.

By default the value is set to 99991231. In this case, the system uses the value of Gross $ Amount in cur pay wage type (/121) to calculate RDP rate.

If you do not change the default value, the system continues to use Gross $ Amount in cur pay wage type (/121) to calculate RDP rate.

Requirements

Note that from April 2011, gross earnings for RDP calculations and for annual leave calculations are identical and hence you do not need to make any changes to settings.

  1. Choose Position.
  2. Enter HRNZL in the Group Name field.
  3. Enter RDPGR in the Semantic abbr. field.
  4. Enter the period in the Value abbr. field.
  5. Save your entries.
