To calculate taxes, SAP R/3 standard system uses two factors:

  • Factor to increase payments to the periodicity of the tax table: This factor is calculated by dividing the number of days in the tax table by the number of days in the payroll period.
  • Factor to apply the tax table proportionally: This factor is calculated by dividing the number of days in the payroll period by the number of days in the tax table.

Activities

If you want to calculate these factors in a way other than the one proposed by the standard SAP R/3 system, you should include the function module EXIT_HMXCISR0_002 of SAP enhancement HRPC3201 in your project, and change it according to your needs.

Warning

You should only perform this step if you fulfil the following conditions:

  • The SAP standard processes do not meet your requirements.
  • You have a good knowledge of ABAP/4 programming.
  • This function module should be used only for the purposes mentioned above. If you use it differently, the system is not guaranteed to produce correct results.

Further notes

For further information, see the documentation for function module EXIT_HMXCISR0_002.

For additional information on how to use this transaction, see the application help.
