Use

In this IMG activity, you maintain the feature Determine Emp. Community Eligiblity for NE Tax Exemp. feature (40NET).

This feature determines if the community to which an employee belongs is eligible for NE State Tax Exemption under Section 10 (26).

The feature returns the following values:

  • Status
    • 1: If the community is eligible
    • 0: If the community is ineligible
  • Duration of eligibility or ineligibility

Payroll function ININI reads the return value of this feature and determines if an employee belonging to a particular community is eligible for NE State Tax Exemption, in the period for which the payroll is run.
