In this step, you maintain the validity periods for the calculation of child allowance. As soon as one of the following amounts changes, you should delimit the validity period:
- Child allowance amounts
- Child allowance amounts for child abroad
- Child allowance amount for challenged adult dependants
Example
The child allowance amounts are increased on January 01, 2001. You delimit the previous validity period as follows:
- Previously
01.01.2000 - 31.12.9999
- New
01.01.2000 - 31.12.2000
- 01.01.2001 - 31.12.9999
Standard settings
In the standard system, the validity periods for child allowance amounts for the years 1996 to 2000 are maintained.
Recommendation
Check the existing entries. Maintain the validity periods for each change.
Activities
To delimit a current validity period, proceed as follows:
- Select the entry and choose Expand <-> Collapse.
The system displays the periods stored for this entry.
- Change the start date of the most recent period and choose Continue.
- Choose Save.
