Use
When the standard settings are used, remuneration and working hours are generated as follows:
- Gross remuneration (total, special payments)
Wage types for remuneration liable to tax are generally used. If a reason for release is entered into the Fiscal Data infotype (0012), SI wage types are used instead.
- Paid working hours
Paid working hours are formed from the monthly planned hours from the shift schedule excluding the unpaid working hours.
You can find the wage types used in the standard system in table T596I under subabpplication EHVE.
In this IMG activity, you specify which additional wage types are used to generate remuneration and working hours are used in the earnings survey. The plus or minus sign in front of these wage types indicates whether they are added to or subtracted from the standard wage types.
The following cumulation wage types are available:
(A) Generation of earnings
- VBS0 Current Gross Income
Contains the portion of the cumulative gross earnings comprised of regular payments.
- VBS1 Current Gross Income (Alternative)
This cumulative wage type is used instead of cumulative wage type VBS0 when a reason for release is entered into the Fiscal Data infotype (0012).
Cumulative wage type VSZ1 is evaluated instead of VSZ0 at the same time.
- VSZ0 Gross Income from Special Payments
Contains the portion of the cumulative gross earnings comprised of non-recurring payments.
- VSZ1 Gross Income from Special Payments (Alternative)
This cumulative wage type is only used when alternative cumulative wage type VBS1 is used for regular payments.
(B) Generation of working hours
The working hours paid are determined using the planned working time from the shift plan. Hours with unpaid absence are deducted.
You can supplement this calculation using cumulative wage type STDM and override it using cumulative wage type STDB. This is generally only possible for hourly workers since relevant wage types are presumably only available for this group of employees.
- STDM Additional paid working hours
Used to add to the number of hours generated by the shift plan. The number field of the wage types is evaluated.
If necessary, enter wage types for paid overtime hours here. The cumulative wage type is added to the working hours generated by the shift plan.
- STDB Paid working hours
This cumulative wage type is only evaluated for hourly workers.
Used to override the number of hours generated by the shift plan. The number field of the wage types is evaluated.
If you use this cumulative wage type enter all wage types for paid working hours, including those wage types for overtime hours.
If this cumulative wage type delivers a number of hours that is greater than 0, it replaces the hours generated by the shift plan completely. Cumulative wage type STDM is also ignored. Otherwise, the paid hours are still generated from the shift plan.
