Use

A contract model for the German Pension Reform groups various modules so that the administrator can maintain the infotype more easily.

In this Customizing activity you define your contract models and assign the relevant modules to them.

Requirements

You have defined your modules in the Maintain Modules Customizing activity.

Standard settings

The standard SAP system contains four model contract models for the basic pension that each contain one module only for the basic pension.
The Model Amendable indicator is set for each of these contract models, which permits the manual enhancement of modules in the German Pension Reform (0699) infotype:

  • DA    Base insurance old rate # pension fund (PK)
  • DN    Base insurance new rate # pension fund (PK)
  • RA    Base insurance old rate # relief fund
  • RN    Base insurance new rate # relief fund

Activities

  1. Enter a code and a name for your contract model.

You use the Model Amendable checkbox to control whether other modules can be added manually in the infotype.

  2. Select the contract model and choose Assignment of Modules from the dialog structure.
  3. Assign the appropriate modules and the validity period to the contract model.

    Note:

When you create contract models with multiple modules, make sure that the modules are suggested in alphabetical order in the infotype German Pension Reform (0699). Depending on the names you have given your modules, a BVV supplementary insurance may appear before the BVV base insurance. This affects the quota deduction.

Therefore, if you want to create contract models that comprise supplementary insurance in addition to the basic pension, and you want to ensure the quota deduction from tax exemption and flat-rate taxation for the basic pension first, use the naming convention for the modules to ensure that the modules for the basic pension appear before those for the supplementary insurance in the German Pension Reform infotype.

If you use contract models that only contain modules for the basic pension and for which the additional entry of other modules is planned, there is no sequence problem.
