Use
For each company office for tax office generated in the Customizing activity Merge Employment Tax-Related Places of Work, the system generates a tax number.
This tax number is used in the employment tax notification. It is formatted for the XML file that is sent to the clearing houses. The company tax number defined in the system is used to determine the tax number.

Activities
Check whether the company tax number defined in your system has the correct format so that the tax number can be structured correctly for the XML file. The format is predefined externally.
The tax number formatted for the XML file must have the following format:
FFFF0BBB/UUUUP
Explanation:
F = German federal tax office number
B = District number
U = Differentiator
P = Check digit
For information about how to specify the tax number so that it can be formatted as described here, see the documentation for data element BTSNR.
In particular, make sure that the forward slash is in the correct position.
