Use

In this Customizing activity you can change the settings for the form group HR_CH_LAW2. This form group contains all logical and physical forms that are used to create the wage statement.

In the standard SAP system, the form type Smart Form is set for the form group. However, you can also choose the form type SAPscript, or as of SAP enhancement package 4 for SAP ERP 6.0, you can also choose the form type PDF. Depending on the chosen form type, the system uses different technologies and physical forms to output the wage statement.

The standard SAP system contains the following logical forms:

  • HR_CH_LAW_2005_H

This logical form contains form templates (physical forms) for the following output methods:

    • SAPscript
    • The physical SAPscript form contains the first page and the supplementary sheet of the wage statement.
    • Smart Form (as of SAP ERP 5.00)
    • The system uses two separate physical forms for the output using a smart form. The physical form for the supplementary sheet has the same name as the form for the first page, but has the suffix _ADD. Both physical forms belong to the same logical form.

The output with smart form contains a 2D bar code. This output meets the certified status of the wage statement according to the swissdec standard.
    • PDF (as of SAP enhancement package 4 for SAP ERP 6.0)
    • The system uses two separate physical forms for the output as a PDF. The logical form HR_CH_LAW_2005_H contains the physical form for the first page of the wage statement only. The physical form for the supplementary sheet is stored in a separate logical form (HR_CH_LAW_2005_H_ADD).
  • HR_CH_LAW_2005_H_ADD

This form is used only if you have chosen the form type PDF for the form group HR_CH_LAW2. The physical PDF form contains the supplementary sheet for the wage statement.

Note: If you create your own logical forms for the wage statement and choose the form type PDF, you always need to create your own logical form for the supplementary sheet. The name of the logical form must always have the format [log. form name wage statement]_ADD.

Activities

If you want to use the standard forms provided by SAP you do not need to perform any activities.

If you want to use customer-specific forms, proceed as follows:

  1. In the Dialog Structure, double-click to choose the node SAP Standard Forms - Display Only.
  2. On the right-hand side of the screen, select the logical form that you want to implement using a customer-specific form.
  3. In the Dialog Structure, choose the node Forms: Customer Settings.
  4. In the right-hand part of the screen, assign a relevant customer form to the logical form that you selected in step 2. On the detail screen, enter the name of your customer form in the field SAPscript Name.

If this setting is used in the system for the first time, you need to use the New Entries pushbutton to create a new entry first. If an entry was created previously, the detail screen appears directly.

  5. Save your changes. If you want to use a customer form for the registration and for the supplementary sheet, repeat steps 1 to 4 and select the other logical form in step 2.
  6. Check whether the standard settings for the form type match your own forms. Proceed as follows:
    1. Choose the node Form Group: SAP Standard Settings # Display Only.
    2. If your forms have a different form type, double-click to choose the Form Group Customer Settings node in the dialog structure and store the form type that matches your forms.
    3. Save your entries.

Note:

You can choose between the following form types:

  • SAPscript (technical key SSC)
  • Smart Form (technical key SFO - as of SAP ERP 5.00)
  • PDF-Based Form (technical key PDF # as of SAP enhancement package 4 for SAP ERP 6.0)

For the name of the SAP standard forms, see the node Forms: SAP Standard Settings. They can be used as a template.
