Use

In this IMG (Implementation Guide) activity, you check the settings for the fixed cost postings to Controlling that you specified in Payroll Customizing.

Personnel Cost Planning and Simulation uses the uses the concept of posting fixed costs to Controlling in the same way as Payroll.

Posting fixed costs enables you to post a particular cost element, independently of the employee, to a fixed cost center or a fixed order, instead of posting it to the usual account assignment (for example the employee's master cost center).

Example

• Decrease in expenses to the Canteen cost center.
• Vacation bonus, Christmas bonus when using limits in Controlling.
• Employer contribution social insurance.

Requirements

You have created the fixed cost centers and cost elements in Controlling.

Standard settings

Activities

1. In Payroll Customizing, call the IMG activity Set Up Fixed Cost Postings.
2. Check the settings.

Note

Note that you must perform this IMG activity in the Accounting system.

You should not need any additional settings for personnel cost planning purposes.

If you need additional entries, only create them after consulting employees in the posting department for payroll results.
