In this step you define your own account determination using a prepared customer enhancement project. In this way, the profit and loss accounts for asset retirement (not balance sheet accounts) can be determined according to given parameters. The system dynamically exchanges the profit and loss accounts in the "normal" account determination with accounts determined using the customer enhancement at the time of posting.
Example
In certain countries (such as the Czech Republic), this function is needed for gain/loss postings from asset retirement. You use it to control the gain/loss posting to different accounts, depending on the transaction type used.
Note
Enhancement projects function on the basis of certain positions in standard SAP programming code that have been prepared by SAP to allow the call of function modules programmed by the user to meet his/her specific requirements. Therefore, it is possible to implement enhancement projects only if you have knowledge of the ABAP/4 programming language.
Standard settings
As standard, the system posts to the general ledger accounts specified in the "normal" account determination.
Recommendation
You should review your needs carefully. Generally, you should not need to use enhancement projects, since all common requirements are already met by the standard system functions.
Activities
- Change the function module EXIT_SAPLANLG_001 and its program ZXINTU02 to meet your requirements.
- Activate a customer enhancement project (any key) with the SAP enhancement AINT0002.
