In this step, you can check and change the definition of the transaction types for claiming investment support measures. This step is only required in exceptional cases.
Requirements
You must have defined at least one investment support measure.
Standard settings
In the standard system, the system automatically creates a transaction type (transaction type key = "I") when you define an investment support measure. Usually, you can use this transaction type without making any other modifications. You need to change it only if
- You want to assign the transactions belonging to it to an asset history group that is not standard, or to a different consolidation transaction.
- You want to change the support measure in regard to the depreciation areas that are posted.
In addition, you can enter a default document type. However, note that this document type is only taken into account during manual posting. When posting collectively (the usual case), you must enter the document type when starting the processing.
Recommendation
You should work with the SAP standard. In this case, there are no activities to the carried out here.
