Use

In this IMG activity, you can assign signature strategies to particular order type and plant combinations. This is necessary in order to be able to create digital signatures for the maintenance operations of the order type and plant combinations in question.

Requirements

• You have defined an authorization group for the user group(s) permitted to create digital signatures in the IMG activity Define Authorization Groups.
• You have defined the individual signatures that must be executed by users in the auhorization group in the IMG activity Define Individual Signatures.
• You have defined a signature strategy in the IMG activity Define Signature Strategies.

Standard settings

Activities

1. Assign a signature strategy to a particular combination of order type and plant.
2. Specify whether digital signatures are to be mandatory, optional, or not to be used for this combination.
If digital signatures are mandatory, then it will not be possible to technically complete a maintenance order until all operations have been digitally signed.
3. Specifiy the signature type.
• Choose Asynchronous Signature Strategy if you want to use an asynchronous signature process. In this case, signatures are created using the details of the user who is currently logged on.
• Choose Asynchronous Signature Strategy with Changeable Signatory if you want to use an asynchronous signature process, and you want it to be possible to change or specify the user details while signing.
• Choose Synchronous Signature Strategy if you want to use a synchronous signature process.
