In this step, you set up the R/3 System to calculate the bases for PF and PFA.
These bases correspond to the total of the obligatory wage types. They are grouped into wage types /103 (PF) and /107 (PFA).
Cumulations 3 (PF basis) and 7 (PFA basis) control whether a wage type is grouped into the above wage types. To cumulate the wage types, you must flag the appropriate field for each wage type.
Note
When configuring the new PF function, you should not have to modify the system since, in this case, the contribution data is not calculated in payroll accounting. You only have to make modifications, if you have set up your own calculations in payroll accounting and the calculations use the above cumulations, or if you want to use payroll results from previous payroll periods.
Activities
To check and, if necessary, change the key of the wage types, you:
Flag the wage type and choose Details.
Enter the start and end dates of the validity period.
If you want to use the wage type to calculate the PF basis or the PFA basis, flag the appropriate fields under Cumulations.
