You can define the date type 'technical date of birth' with default WTECH.

The default setting for 'technical date of birth' is 60 and is indicated on the infotype Date Specifications (I0041).

Requirements

If a technical date of birth is applicable for the employee, choose on infotype Date Specifications (I0041) the default value in the 'date type' field.

Activities

  1. If you want the 'technical date of birth' default to be a number other than 60, choose 'edit' and enter the new number for the feature.
  2. Save your entry.

The default number as entered above must also be changed in the 'Date Types' table. To do so,

  1. Choose Maintain Default Values for Technical Birth Date.
  2. Copy default 60. Enter the new default number.
  3. Enter the relevant information.
  4. Save your entry.
