You can define the deadline type 'age letter reminders' with default WALRD.

The default setting for this feature is set to 72, indicating that an age letter reminder should be issued three months before the beginning of the tax year (March 1) in which the employee turns 65.

Requirements

The deadline type must be set in the field 'Date/deadline type' on infotype Reminder Dates (I0019). This can be done either manually or by running the report Generate Age Letter Reminder.

Activity

  1. If you want to change the default number, choose 'edit' and enter the new number for the feature.
  2. Save your entry.

The default number as entered above must also be changed in the 'Deadline Types' table. To do so,

  1. Choose Maintain Default Values for Age Letter Reminder .
  2. Copy default 72. Enter the new default number.
  3. Maintain the relevant 'Lead/follow-up time' and 'Unit' entries accordingly.
  4. Save your entry.
