In this step, you specify which wage types are used when determining the total salary.

Example

Requirements

You have copied the model wage type CSAL to your wage type range in the Copy Wage Type for Determining Total Salary step.

Standard settings

There are no entries in the standard system.

Recommendation

Activities

  1. Determine the country grouping of the wage types you wish to edit.

    For each wage type that should be used when determining the salary total create a line according to the instructions below. Assign a sequence number in the No. field.

  2. Choose New entries.
  3. Assign the value ANSAL to the Indirect valuation module field.
  4. In the Valuated wage type field, enter the name of your wage type for determining the total salary.
  5. In the No. field, enter a sequence number.
  6. Enter the validity period.
  7. In the Base wage type field, enter the name of the wage type that should be used when determining the total salary.
  8. In the Percent field, enter the percentage rate used to weight the base wage type.
  9. Choose Save.

Further notes

Only wage types that have been entered in the Basic Pay infotype (0008) can contribute to determining the total salary. Wage types that are defined in the view but not entered in the Basic Pay infotype (0008) are not taken into account.
