In this activity, you restrict the number of employees who are taken into account in the search in the Who's Who service.

The status indicator STAT2 (Employees' Employment Status) is used to restrict the employees.

Standard settings

In the standard system, all employees are taken into account in the search.

Activities

  1. Check whether the default setting suits your requirements.
  2. If you want to restrict the number of employees in the search, proceed as follows:
    1. Access the V_T77S0 view.
    2. Choose New Entries.
    3. In the Group field (group name), enter ESS.
    4. In the Sem. Abbr. field (semantic abbreviation) enter STAT2 .
    5. In the Value Abbr. field (value of semantic abbreviation), restrict the number of employees covered by the search by entering the relevant employment status for the search.

The following options are available:

0: Employee is not with the company
1: Employee is with the company, but not active
2: Employee is with the company, but retired
3: Employee is active in the company

You can enter the statuses individually or combine them.

Example:

You want to restrict the search to all active employees.
Enter 3 in the Value abbr. field.

You want to restrict the search to all active employees and pensioners.
Enter 23 in the Value abbr. field.
